A DMX controller sequences color, brightness, and motion patterns across each tube independently, creating full-motion light shows. They can be static (holding one color to match your palette) or fully animated in any pattern, from pulse chases to rainbow sweeps.

Q: What events are pixel tubes best suited for?

Pixel tubes work exceptionally well for weddings, corporate galas, mitzvahs, birthday celebrations, and school events. They are most impactful as DJ booth surrounds, sweetheart or head table backdrops, stage accents, and dance floor framing. The visual impact is strongest in rooms with lower ambient lighting during reception or entertainment portions of an event.

Package size depends on the application. A standard DJ booth surround typically uses 6 to 12 tubes. A sweetheart table or stage backdrop installation may use 12 to 24 or more. During your planning call, our production team will recommend a quantity based on the space dimensions, ceiling height, and your visual goals.

Pixel tubes are powerful as a standalone focal feature, but they pair exceptionally well with our dance floor lighting package and room uplighting. Each tube connects to a DMX controller, which sequences color, brightness, and motion patterns independently across the entire array.
