What Is a GOBO Monogram?

GOBO stands for Goes Before Optics. A metal or glass disc, precision-cut with your design, is inserted into a specialized lighting fixture before the lens assembly. Light passes only through the engraved areas, projecting your name, initials, logo, or pattern sharply onto any surface in the room.

Modern digital projectors accomplish the same result using high-resolution files, opening the door to animated and full-color designs that move with the room's energy. Both technologies live under the GOBO umbrella, and both are in our kit.

Monogram projection is one of the most personal touches a couple can add to a wedding or a brand can add to a corporate event. It turns a rental room into your room.
