Traditional wedding bands are limited by set lists, breaks, and a fixed sound. A DJ-only set can feel like a passive music service. Our fusion packages live in the space between: continuous, genre-spanning music powered by a DJ, ignited by a live musician performing alongside it.

Performance sets are strategically placed throughout the event for maximum impact: typically during cocktail hour, grand entrances, peak open dancing, and late-night finales. Playing every song all night would actually dilute the impact. Strategic timing is part of what we plan carefully with you in advance, so every live set feels like an event within the event.
Absolutely. Black Diamond is a full-service event production company. We can cover the ceremony with live music or a DJ setup, cocktail hour, and the full reception. The saxophonist performing solo during cocktail hour is one of our most popular add-ons. One team, one contract, the whole day covered.
Yes. We serve events throughout New England, including Cape Cod, the Islands, Newport and Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, and Vermont. We also take destination events. Travel fees may apply depending on location and logistics.
