Granite Links Golf Club sits atop the Quincy Quarries in Quincy, MA, about seven miles south of downtown Boston, and it owns one of the widest skyline views in New England. It suits couples who want a city-view wedding without leaving the South Shore, at a scale that runs from an intimate dinner beside the Tavern to a reception for several hundred under the lights. Indoor rooms hold year-round, and the open-air Pavilion Tent is the seasonal showpiece.
What makes Granite Links a strong wedding venue?
Height is the whole pitch. The clubhouse sits roughly 300 feet above sea level, so the property looks out across the Boston skyline, the Harbor Islands, and the Blue Hills in a near 360-degree sweep. Sunset is the moment couples plan around, and the staff will run you out across the course by golf cart for portraits while the city turns gold behind you. The 27-hole championship course, one of Golf Digest’s Top 100, wraps the property and gives that photo route real range.
The spaces flex to the guest count. The Grand Ballroom, on the upper level of the Nantucket-style clubhouse, brings high ceilings, hardwood floors, walls of windows, and an outdoor terrace over the illuminated fountain. The seasonal Pavilion Tent, open roughly mid-April through October, puts an open-air reception right on the skyline. For a smaller day, the Granite Room and Veranda Room sit beside the award-winning Tavern at Quarry Hills. In-house catering and a private wedding suite round out the offering, and the ballroom’s neutral, window-lined walls take color beautifully, which is where production earns its keep.

That window-lined ballroom is built for light. We wash the room in custom uplighting, and the effect here is dramatic enough that photographers single it out. For a focal point, an LED video wall carries a monogram, motion, or the skyline itself. A photo booth keeps the floor busy between sets, live musicians carry the ceremony and cocktail hour on the terrace, and our DJ and MC team runs the night.
The Pavilion Tent is open and tall, so we tune the sound system to the structure and light the perimeter to give it depth after dark. Our photography and videography crew knows the sunset window and the golf-cart route, so the skyline portraits land in the gallery without holding up the party.
