Our Story
Boston Roots.

Black Diamond Event Production was built on the belief that a great event should feel like it was made for exactly the people in that room. We started in the early 2000s under the Spinner Music Productions name, grinding out weddings and private events across Greater Boston before most of today's event tech even existed. The name changed. The standard never did.
"We don't just show up to your event. We build it with you, own the room, and make sure every detail lands exactly the way it was supposed to."
Today, Black Diamond brings an elite roster of DJs, MCs, photographers, videographers, live musicians, and lighting and AV specialists together under one production house. Our fusion packages combine disciplines into a single unified team, which means tighter coordination, sharper execution, and a finished event that feels cohesive from first look to last song. We serve weddings at New England's finest venues, Fortune 500 corporations, and social clients who refuse to settle for average.

Named one of the Most Influential Event Professionals in the United States by BizBash Magazine, David carries over a decade of experience in the hospitality and events industries. He has served two Vice President roles on the Board of Directors of the International Live Events Association, Boston Chapter, and has received multiple NACE and ILEA national honors.

Alyssa has been with Black Diamond since the company's inception as Spinner Music Productions. The organizational backbone of the operation, she manages inquiry triage, staff scheduling, and event planning oversight with the kind of precision that keeps an entire production team running on time, every weekend.

Before joining Black Diamond, Nick photographed the Boston Red Sox, Duke University Athletics, and the Premier Lacrosse League. A graduate of Endicott College with a B.S. in Marketing and a focus in Photography, Nick brings sports-media sharpness and editorial precision to every wedding and event he shoots.
